Single leg Deadlift on Bosu ball
advanced strength, mobility, and balance
The single leg deadlift can be done so many different ways and is one of my favorite exercises for the posterior chain, ankle stability and core stability.
Muscles involved in this movement predominantly include the hamstrings, glutes, and trunk musculature. This is also great for balance and motor control through the hip complex. Pictured are 3 different steps, master the first before moving on. The first, use the TRX to make sure your hips are square, second move to weights third take it to the bosu ball! Make sure your hips stay square and core is tight on the movement. This is a great exercises for runners, hikers and skiers coming out of ski boots! Why not strengthen your posterior chain and work on your balance!?
