We are so proud of Wright Training athlete Hannah Horigan for completing the Boston Marathon last week! Hannah gave us a little look into her perspective on the race…
“The 2015 Boston Marathon was a rainy, windy, and chilly run this year. The elements of the weather just added to the excitement of the race. This was my second time running the course that starts in Hopkinton and finishes in downtown Boston on Boylston street. Through the streets and puddles Boston had to offer I was able to run my personal best time. I had set a goal for myself and even though I was 2 minutes away from my mark I was 8 minutes faster than I had ever been. Pounding the pavement for 3:22:00 will shake your body and with the help of Wright Training I felt strong and prepared for what Boston was going to throw at me this year. Another thing the pavement does is kick your butt after the race and the recovery is so much smoother with the base that Wright Training squatted, Jane Fondaed, box jumped me into!”
