I’ve been on the road a lot lately- traveling for work and other things- and I get grouchy when I don’t get my workouts in. It’s always nice to have a few fresh ‘on the go’ workouts in your back pocket to keep motivated when you can’t get to the gym. I made this one up at a recent work conference I attended.
Most of the other attendees thought I was a crazy person, but I felt good going into an all day work session knowing I’d pushed my body a bit. You can definitely get a solid workout in without weights, just put on some fun tunes, commit to the burn, and grind it out.
If you’re looking for a timer to use for when you’re away from the gym, I use the Tabata Stopwatch Pro App from the Apple app store. You can adjust it for Tabatas, EMOMs, and AMRAPs.

On-the-go Body weight workout:
10 sit ups
10 push ups
30 minute AMRAP
2x suicides (pick a distance of about 50 yards, split it in half, sprint half of the 50 and back and then the full 50 yards and back twice)
10x deep air squats
30x high knees
10x up with a twist
10x jump lunges
30 second plank (elevated if you have a bench or a step)
30 seconds Touch Jump Touch
30 seconds rest
4 Rounds Tabata (20 seconds on/10 seconds rest)
Plank walk up
Super man hold
